The teleport thing

i noticed that there was a way to teleport someone in 2 maps, what all do u need exactly to do that? I know im asking to many questions, but im sick right now, give me a break lol

Loffy is one of the mappers and RED UK is the other mapper… both have experiance in this matter…

The entities for it were not included in the default et_entities.def file. You would need a trigger-textured brush that is the trigger_teleport entity, which targets a misc_teleporter_dest entity.

You can also use target_teleporter for buttons (And the like) that teleport them away.

Heirpie is right. I’ve included teleporters in Darji2. I learned it all from Erik-Ftn. Erik-Ftn has a nice site - go there!: http://user.tninet.se/~fzo823r/ and click on the link “More entites for ET/ Radiant”. Then download the file rtcw_ent_in_et_beta2.pk3 because it has great stuff (e.g. teleporters), instructions and a sample map. You can open that .map-file in your editor. After that, you will be able to find out how to use teleporters.
