I propose we raise the minimum level for ranked play to 20. This will eventually lead to a higher ranked player base.
So let’s start with a little story
Once a upon a time, not long ago, a little Wolvie went to try out the new and updated ranked. He waits in a 5 minute queue, then an accept button pops up on his screen. He clicks it ready to go and win a match. Little does he know, rage is about to be instilled in him. During the first half Wolvie gets pissed off at his dumb and terrible teammates. He decides to check their hours. Not a single one has over 50 hours.

Moral of the story: F’ Ranked. I will be opting out of playing ranked this season. I cannot stand having to deal with playing with dumbass teammates. By changing the minimum level to 20, the amount of stupidity will be greatly decreased. Then little Wolvie can go and enjoy playing ranked. And when little Wolvie enjoys the lack of idiocy, everybody else will also enjoy the lack of idiocy. Then you will get more players playing ranked due to matches being less frustrating. Almost every >LVL20 will be playing since they know they won’t get paired with LVL 7’s who think they’re MLG XxX_Pr0_Sn1p3r_XxX. There will be an initial first drop in players, but it will quickly explode.
TL;DR Increasing Minimum Level -> Less Stupidity -> More Enjoyment -> More Players
