I’m not sure why Splash Damage has been so quiet as of late and would love to hear some news regarding Brink’s future, whatever that may be. I don’t care if they need to be frank and say “we’re moving on to other projects”, just as long as we’re not kept in the dark any longer.
What do you guys think? Would you want to hear bad news about Brink or would you rather SD’s silence keep our hope alive?

The folks at Splash Damage are buckling under the immense pressure of cashing their checks and counting their euros. They can’t respond to us because there’s baguettes that need to be eaten, cappuccinos to drink and pretentious jokes to be made about the fools who are paying for all of it.
It’s hard work, but someone has to do it. Let’s give them some credit here folks. Baguettes are super delicious.

Back from the long hiatus, seriously? In the dark? last time i was here they stated 2 things 1, they were working on the weapons tweaks, which look like it’s still not done, 2 as for future DLC it was on Bethesda to make that decision not Splash Damage. In other words don’t expect much in way of new content on Brink, if it happens then cool if not then don’t hold your breath on it.

I didn’t mean to say it in an angry tone =( Remember, this is the guy who is happy unless I say I am not XD. Look at my avatar, and tell me that god of burial looks terrifying. Anyways, I think they need to be more official about there ideas, so I was offering him a link if he wasn’t just trolling everyone.
It was on the front page, and @san What says we are both the same person. Is sindonor and ochino and iezza and some other random person who also enjoys this game ALL the same person. I’ve admitted this game has serious faults. I just overlook them and enjoy the game and despite them. Anyways, he’s on Xbox and I’m on PS3. If we were on the same system you might have had a chance with your argument. So tell me what evidence you have that we are anything close to the same person?

hopefully sd took a vacation. no matter how you accept brink as a game there was indeed tons of hard work and long hours poured into it. they deserve some time off after the launch.
but yeah, echo: weapon tweaks and updates. the longer it takes the more hopeful i am for a positive impact on gameplay.
Just to confirm that weapon balancing are being worked on for all platforms as we’ve said a few times in various posts. PC’s getting an extra helping of tweaks here to move that version of the game closer to what a lot of you have been suggesting in your feedback in regards to accuracy and spread.
The clan update teased on the Brink site is also still in the works and that’ll naturally come with another round of game updates to plug everything in. Don’t have any more information on those bits to share at the moment but expect more as that content moves closer to the finish line.
