The Shiny Dirty Bomb Comic/Anime Project!

So we should have hopefully all seen @Shinywindow 's artwork. He is extremely good! This poll is to try and persuade him to create a Dirty Bomb comic/manga/anime. I would pay for this if he was the artist.
He might need help, but I’m sure there are loads of artists and fictional writers that would be willing to help inside the Dirty Bomb community. Please give your support so he does this!

I don’t care in the sense that he can do what he wants, don’t want to make him feel he’s being forced or anything. that being said though, I’d totally read it

Of coarse no one is forcing him to, and he will surely be able to make a decision without anyone’s input. And if he were to be unsure, he could start out short, just a page or something, and see how people react. This all has to fit into his personal life as well so…

What would it be about though? If you base it on the actual game then it’d be some overly deep existential conondrum of repeating the same thing over and over again, even past the point of many many deaths (that is the definition of insanity! :wink: ).

The only format I could see working is slice of life with a few bits thrown in just using the mercs to interact with each other.

@Incoming well I think that he could make up some stories about the mercs background. Or he could have little kind of funny strips e.g. Battlefield Friends, Dota 2 Reporter (although he doesn’t have to animate it). He could get other people to come up with stories.
Just little funny things and see how people respond to them. He could get a patreon. He could get a job as an artist. Then Splash Damage could employ him to draw concepts of new mercs etc.
Pls Splash Damage employ him.

@TheVulpesFox You should really just ask him. Hell, I could do comic strips as I do draw quite a bit, but that doesn’t mean I have the time to do comics regularly. Same applies to @Shinywindow so you really ought to ask first.

Golly I appreciate everyone’s support, but if you’ve been following my art thread I’m already doing a Dirty Bomb themed comic feat Thunder and the Medics (if i can ever finish it lol). Due to classes, portfolio building, and work on other comics ([url=“https://www.patreon.com/lordranandbeyond?ty=h”]Lordran and Beyond), I can’t put out as much work as I used to.

I really do appreciate all this though!
