It’s clear that early reviews are coming out since the game launches tomorrow in NA. Although Bethesda probably didn’t allow reviews before the 10th then some are still leaking.

So instead of creating a new thread for each review, why can’t these just be in one thread.

One of the reviews I noticed people talking about is this: http://www.gamervision.com/users/guiltychippx/articles/brink_xbox_360_

It definitely isn’t by a mainstream gaming site (hell, I wouldn’t be suprised if he pirated the game), but he does seem to have the opinion that I am expecting from most reviewers (even though the guy didn’t actually experience real online multiplayer).

Not sure why one would call it “Piss poor” like in the thread about it since clealy Brink isn’t going to get 10/10 scores, it’s still a game for specific audiences so 8/10 is more likely. Specialy since Brink’s singleplayer only portion is so-so.

This review actually seems pretty fair. He didn’t seem like a “CALL OF DUTY OR MINUS 25 POINTS” type of guy and his only real knock is the relatively poor single player.

It seems like he was basically saying the game is good, worth playing, and the best FPS coming out in the next few months, but it seemed he was accepting the behemoths waiting to launch this fall are going to overshadow games like Brink.

It seems that aside from ****ty sites like IGN and their bastard child Gamespy this game will garner solid 7,8,9 reviews, have a solid reviews from everyone who accepts it for what it is and eventually go the way of most non-CoD games and form around a solid core of genre fans that will continue to play it until something similar is launched.

Looking forward to picking it up tomorrow.

I am expecting a metacritic average between 74-84, and I am also expecting to personally love the game. Lets get real, the at times horrendous animations are going to be brought up by reviewers, although they don’t bother me much at all.

He’s trying to be a douchebag.

And from an aesthetic standpoint, he has some good points. Learn to laugh and take things in stride.

To the Yahtzee comments, maybe, but he’s not going “Imps and all” in his videos and he’s much more “vehemently nostalgic” about everything. Yahtzee at least wants to be surprised.

I just watched his Portal 2 review yesterday to see what all the fuss was about. People talk like he’s Dave Chapelle but he’s not that funny. He is strange though.
