Why a change to the sniper rifles?

And tbh 6 bullets still doesnt make the Felix good enough or different enough from the MOA in a way that more people will use it. Isnt the damage still 79 v 75 respectively? Along with the Felix’s worse recoil and rate of fire, why use it for extra one bullet and only 4 more damage?

I think something needs to be done to make the Felix more of a viable option as a sniper. Right now I only ever use the PDP or MOA based on what I need (inflict quick damage to many vs accurate recon distance killer)

-At the end of the first half of a Stopwatch match, Overtime can now activate. Any extra time added due to Overtime is added to the clock in the second half of the match, for example:
-If a C4 is planted in the first half and the timer runs out, the game will continue until the C4 explodes or is disarmed.

Why is this a thing? This essentially defeats the whole purpose and concept of Stopwatch. :stuck_out_tongue:

Don’t get me wrong, it’s not all too bad, it just makes little to no sense and feels really, really weird. You may want to look into an option for turning off overtime in tournament/league games.

The difficult part is it’s very hard to complete secondary objectives as defenders. It’s no good that destroying gates/barriers/repairing them as defenders doesn’t seem to register or count as secondary objectives. Only reliable way I’ve completed them were on Underground where doing those somewhat help the team overall.

BTW, this is my face when I get to starting planting C4 in the initial rush then another players tries to “race” me even though I got a 1 second head start. Or when I get there start the C4 planting nearly the same time as another and hope to “beat” them. After 2 hours of trying to finish that daily mission, it’s the worst one, second only to “Complete/Win ‘X’ Competitive Matches”.

How does it defeat the purpose of stopwatch? The team that attacks second still has to beat the time of the first half. afaik the point of stopwatch was to make the team that goes second beat the time of the team that goes first. It would only defeat the point of stopwatch if overtime existed for the team that went 2nd as well. It doesn’t.

Incredible! Will eagerly be testing out the private matches with the community for bugs, seems very well balanced in terms of not being able to farm credits in a controlled environment(Though would like to see that change perhaps if there is a specific number of people playing in the match). All round a perfect update, I knew we wouldn’t be disappointed with all the delays once it finally arrived. <3

Would two medics get health insurance xp off of each other’s health insurance when both had healed each other? I would hope not, but notes didn’t specify what, if any, types of xp are excluded from the bonus.

Why the hell does it take 6 players to start a private server? Did the game change to 6v6 or something? Dumbest thing ever.

While we’re keeping it as up-to-date as possible, our new anti-cheat system NGS is only one layer of protection. To support NGS, we are adding in the much-requested Player Reporting system. Accessible by right-clicking on another player’s name in the scoreboard, doing so will send a report to our team.

My favorite part of the update.

Same here, the number of times I’ve run around like an idiot planting C4 on Underground and I could have ridden up the elevator and jumped down instead … :#
