Also Nader and Stoaker. And of course the rest of the fire support mercs if he’s outside somewhere (Trainyard or Chapel, and lots of places on Terminal, despite being inside the second stage is open to the sky almost everywhere).
I always have one in my loadout just in case. It helps against Auras in general

phantom is general was a shit idea… you cant hear him tell he is right on you and till nerfed or not you can still insta kill after uncloaking with your melee… so id say pull him out but there goes so much money … but thats just me since ive played and swore to never use him tell its fair

Phantoms concept was that of a flanker. Someone who takes out high value targets, medics for the most part. Similar to the roles of Redeye and Sparks. He just falls flat because he has no spotting mechanic, and the cloak doesn’t really help all that much with flanking.

Aside from that, most Phantom players are just bad at him. Playing an Assassin is hard. Look at League of Legends. They’re high risk high reward glass cannons. Phantom works the same. His cloak is a disengage as much as a tool to sneak up on someone. That’s why it gives armour.

Snipers will instakill you as much as the katana does. The difference is that snipers require skill in aiming, while phantom -in theory- requires skill in picking your engagements. Most people are happy to just go get a kill and then die though. And then they wonder why they’re bad.

Phantom is underpowered however he’s not annoying since HE DOESN’T SIT ON THE OP HEALTH STATION AND HITTING PEOPLE WITH THE CROSSHAIR 50 INCHES AWAY FROM THE ENEMY.

People wonder why I always am wall jumping off stairs and shooting at the ground while Proxy is on free rotation. At least Rhino and Vaseline can’t essentially affect three places at once.

I hate shotguns… Yeah, cause fast Aura or Proxy when you check some corner appears and they just hs you… You have no time to defend yourself.

Also Nades aren’t that close range, and same you can’t defend yourself, you can only run (which is so unhonorable move)… Anyways any merc with 100 hp or below without unshakeble can be killed by fletcher sticky without getting a chance to defend.

Same goes for Nader and any <90 hp merc… I don’t need to mention spamming around nades getting thousands of [+10xp splash damage] and +“some number” xp kill (which Nader doesn’t even know who was she focusing or who was the victim…

Vassili or Sparks… Not much you can do when you get headshotted from nowhere…

Proxy mines on spawn… You don’t even expect them to be there. I mean, so annoying!

I just want to play game, and not just respawn and immediately be killed by some one-shot/spamming sh*t! (I play Fletcher I know, but that is cause it is fun to play him, and I know lots people gets oneshotted cause of that)

Also Rhino - he is sometimes upgraded version of Bushwackers turret… That can be healed… That sits in corner and doesn’t even need lock-on to start firing fastly…
