For C4 defusal, you’ll earn points for the fraction you’ve worked on it. Same for EV, but points comes by fraction of progress (send a rifle magazine on it, you probably won’t receive score directly, but as soon as some significant damage is done you’ll earn them).
Regarding the displayed name, for EV, the last hitter generally gets his name displayed, while for the C4 difusal, it’s generally the one who did the biggest part. Nevertheless, it’s not a recent bug, you can also see “[blank] disarmed C4” from time to time.[/QUOTE]
