I saw many good players (duppi, ImplosivePanda, Ozzie and the likes) playing Vaseline only with an iron MO22 Hurricane Sniper
Somebody knowns why ?

I do. It’s the same reason I use Lead B84 Kira and Iron A31 Fletcher.
Double Time.
It makes it so you can’t sprint cancel your reloads. Some of us won’t use r-canceling (canceling with reload key) or swap canceling for various reasons. Double Time only breaks sprint canceling, so people who use that option tend to avoid it. Being able to reposition while reloading isn’t worth not being able to rely on your muscle memory to get back in the fight instantaneously.
@MisterBadmin
so if you have a loadout which you like with 2 really good perks and double time, you can use iron to keep the good perks and avoid double time?
@blufflord
Exactly. If I want to use a particular weapon set, I use a rarity where I don’t get saddled with Double Time.
Here are the 3 cards mentioned so far. Iron means no DT for the Fletcher and Vaseline, Lead means no DT for the Kira, even if it means missing out on Enigma.

Lol, sounds to me like people would just rather not learn how to use double time.
I have the BR84 kira in cobalt, double time is absolutely godly on her. Maybe it’s just my playstyle, but it seems like such a waste not to bother learning it considering how useful it can be.
so far the mercs that really shine with double time are phoenix and phantom, both really pubstars though. Phoenix DT allows very effective poke - run-reload - engage without being able to be punished, as sprinting phoenix is faster than most other mercs. Phantom is very similar in that being able to reload while sprinting around allows for that very important surprise factor.
In 5v5 comp double time is probably more of a useless perk, maybe quite alright on the aura DT-supplies-getup blish.

People being to bad at reload canceling with R.
reload cancel with ‘r’ is a lot less responsive than sprint cancel reload. And I almost never cancel reload.

To be fair RCR has a half second delay between pressing and being able to shoot again, this can make an impact in a fire fight.
Never saw the point of double-time. Pushing while reloading is a bad idea. Running away with a primary out is only slower movement speed than with a pistol/knife. I can see it being fine with shotguns, but lol shotguns

there are a few instances where double time shines:
Another way to think about double time: the only time you don’t sprint is when you fire your gun. This is unparalleled level of mobility, with no downtime. Naturally, a lot more relevant when pubstomping an 8v8 than in a positioning-based 5v5 comp.
@Szakalot
Points 2 and 4 from above can be achieved without double time by reloading while wall jumping. Wall jumping will get you out of a fight faster than sprinting, and gives you the time to reload every gun except the LMG’s. Most people who detest double time will do this extremely frequently.
Personally, I don’t mind double time and it’s invaluable on a lot of ‘hit and run’ or shotgun mercs as mentioned above. For whatever reason I really like it on the BR. Running Fletcher without dt sounds interesting, though. I’ll give that a try because his A31 is the only loadout I occasionally have those reload issues with.
@Melinder im happy you brought walljumping up. Most weapons will reload a moment after you hit the ground, even if you switch them out efficiently. This will give you a slight slowdown, which can be pretty detrimental in a chase.
Double time will let you long-jump-wall-jump even already after you have started the reload, with no loss of pace
You will lose out on bit of speed, as long jumping with a knife out will give you more speed/distance.

yeah sure but long-jump with knife - switch to weapon - reload is not gonna work very well
