So there’s been a lot of talk on the merc and loadout system, and how they could be improved currently.
For me, I think there’s a lot of things that could be done to make this system a lot more interesting and give more ways for players to get the cards they want, and the mercs they want in a reasonable manner, so with that said let’s get started.
- Card smelting for credits
So here’s how this would work, you’d take 3 of a certain rarity of card and merc, and break them down for credits rather than trade up. So if you have 3 iron Naders, you could break those down for credits instead. Same thing for all of your gold cards you don’t want or need.
The system could also possibly use a little work, but my idea so far seems to be
4Lead = 250 credits
4Iron = 500 credits
3Bronze = 1000 credits
3Silver = 2500 credits
2*Gold = 5000 credits
And remember, they have to be same quality, and merc to break down, so consider this fair since you’d have to go through a ton of different trading just to make it happen.
- Card Trading
Allow players to trade loadout cards 1 for 1, you can trade any merc you like for another of the same rarity and 1000 credits.
So if I want say, an Obsidian Fragger for my Obsidian Vasilli, find someone who has it, then make the trade. We could also change the values if needed. Like 100 for lead training, 250 for iron, 500 for bronze, 1000 for silver, 2000 for Gold, and 3000 for Obsidian.
- Allow players to pay credits for not just unlocking Mercs, but a trial of them as well.
For example, if I wanted to try out Nader for a few days, 10000 credits
- Lower the price of the mercs, credits and actual cash
Imo, new mercs should cost $5, and older ones should cost $2.50, in credits, I’d say 15000 and 25000 respectfully.
Imo the pricing should look like this
Proxy, Vasilli, Sawbonez, Arty, Fragger = 2.50/15000
Bushwhacka, Nader, Fletcher = 5.00/25000
I think those are much more reasonable prices, especially since this is still a BETA and not a full game yet.
