There are still some incredibly annoying issues remaining with the lobby.

[li]The merc select screen takes (For me, on 2 machines i’ve tested) ~4-5 seconds to load the tiles. By that point, there is nearly no time to pick. And if you are in the merc selection screen, and the timer passes, any changes are discarded.[/li][li]When I join a sever, why do I need to wait so long to deploy? It doesn’t seem to be the spawn wave, it just seems to be 15 seconds of complete utter boredom.[/li][li]Need a way of getting into settings from the lobby.[/li][/ul]
The biggest issue is certainly the first one above. With the cards playing so much of a role, you are not given enough time to select them. I know the time was extended a few patches ago, but it’s not enough. Why can’t lock in just happen automatically when you first spawn, and you can choose up until that point (this is when we get into technical restrictions, i’d think :)).
