the loading image

i made an image for that and i put it in the levelshots folder and named it (mapname).tga

i was wondering how i would make that show up. do i need any code for that?

The loading screen or the levelshot from the map itself?

levelshots folder indicates a levelshot from the map. the one which shows up in the loading screen.

@forbidden. is your image scaled by the power of 2 :wink:

just a hint. there is sth which calls itself a “tutorial”. this might be useful i guess :stroggtapir:

the little image that shows up in the corner that looks like a little pucture while the map is loading

make a pic 512x512 and save as .tga in levelshots
use same name as the bsp file

you must also create a levelshots shader file in which you declare the image’s properties. Therefore just check others custommaps scripts folder. For example mine (delivery,missile).
