I’m not generally one to gripe…BUT…
I feel like the knife attack animations should be much shorter, particularly the quick knife while holding your gun. The problem I have encountered is that if I try to quickly run up and knife someone in a pinch, by the time the animation has gone through enough frames for me to get a hit, I’ve already passed by them. That kind of defeats the purpose doesn’t it? Now I realize I could learn the anim and try to time it better, etc but that also kinda defeats the point I think especially when you consider they’re not going to just stand there and take it.
Now don’t get me wrong here…I’m not asking for a black ops knife per se, but could we at least consider making the quick knife while holding your gun…quick?
I can deal with longer anims with knife equipped, but the slow quick knife is killing me(cause it certainly isn’t killing anyone else lol).
So…opinions? Am I being silly? Anyone agree?

The slow stab does more damage than the quick slash, which is why it is balanced by taking longer to enact (50hp vs 30hp or something like that).
I do however think that there should be a options dropdown to set whether the quick knife should do a stab or slash attack though.
Which would solve your problem of it being slow and still let everyone else gib in one shot rather than two.
What is killing knife for me is the stab occurs a couple of inches below the crosshair, yet damage is inflicted at crosshair level, animation needs to move up a bit.
P.S. If you didn’t find out already when wielding the knife secondary attack is the stab (same as current quick knife).
