The Glow Effect

Are the glow effects going to be something you can toggle on and off? I am talking about the glow you see in the PAX 2010 Container City vid. The buffed gun golden glow and the sort of outline glow around players to indicate team.

I don’t care for these effects, I think they obscure the visuals. The visuals are a big draw for me. Brink has a very unique visual style and many options for customizing appearance, the glow obscures that.

Will this be a thing you can toggle, both on the PC and the consoles?

About consoles I’m not so sure, but for PC games, the post processing is considered mostly a gimmick and is often one of the first things players turn off to improve their performance.

I’m hoping for a definitive answer from a dev, to be honest. I’ll be playing on a console.
