This merc is assault but ain’t regular assault. Unlike other assault he doesn’t have really powerful weapons except the fact he gets dual pistols as primary (Was thinking dual deagle and dual Caulden and M9). His ability is berzerk, lasts a 30 seconds and increases damage fire rate and HP (which is 100) of Berzerk (Which is also his name since I am very much not creative). If he won’t be considered a team player you can make berzerk an AOE for teammates that has the effect of half of the ability but that is only if hes base berzerk won’t be good enough.
As for style I was thinking a 50 cent Blood in the sand look and his special taunts are said in a freestyle sort of way.

uhm… calculate the DPS vs spread of his base setup. Keep in mind how loadouts are put in place for dirty bomb. After the base damage, consider what the problems of a damage-per-second-boosting ability would do for other mercs. A damage-boosted rhino would be completely break the game. Being killed by literally 1 bullet from rhino would be even less fun than getting killed by 4 bullets as usual.

Well the teamplayer berzerk is optional I said with the main idea of the ability being geared towards him. The higher DPS full potential is held back by the fact he uses only pistols so the player needs to be a good shot for the higher DPS to take effect.

I personally don’t think akimbo would suit the game very well. I’m probably being biased because I don’t like the idea of akimbo-ing and how impracticable it is. I don’t think it’s quite realistic and yes, I am fully aware that this game has giant satellite lasers and extreme wall jumping (and a whole bunch of other stuff), but why would a merc ever use two pistols instead of any other gun, even with the bezerk ability. Just a thought, probably doesn’t apply all that much because I’m pretty sure ideas should be judged upon the actual suggested gameplay and stats of the idea but eh.

No offense but I personally think he’d be underpowered until he got his beserk back, I don’t see many people playing as him if he’s only good in beserk mode.
