XT won’t start after the last update :(, win xp 32b, directx 9.0c
Error dialog pops up: the procedure entry point Direct3DCreate9Ex could not be located in the dynamic link library d3d9.dll. Direct3DCreate9Ex function exists only in vista/win7/win8 directx.
Is windows xp not supported anymore?

this game runs on dx9, so you’re fine on that front. i would reinstall directx or at least make sure you have the newest version

Directx is up to date (9.0c), the problem is that i’m still running windows xp

Microsoft quit supporting XP SP2 years ago, support for SP3 ends in 6 weeks, can’t imagine why you would blame SD

of course the ut3 engine supports dx9 (which is all xp can run). you might have something forcing dx10-11 in your cfg. i would also uninstall and reinstall.

guys you can’t click on the msdn link I posted above? :smiley:
Directx 9 on xp doesn’t support Direct3DCreate9Ex due to outdated vid driver model in xp.
Hence I asked a simple question whether xp is going to be supported or not.
Having no replies in 1 week I guess xp is not supported anymore.
Anyway Iv got oem win7 and installing it now over xp cya ingame:D
