…WHAT?! Do you people read posts at all? Or did you just read the title and the first few words? Please, go back to the first post and read everything. I have to say it… you’re stupid.
Could you imagine if this game really had 432 maps? Ha we’d never be able to master them all.
Zombie mode…when I first saw that post (in another thread) and realized the kid was serious, I almost screamed. Then I realized he couldn’t hear me.
Well at the end of every match, while it doesn’t track them it does show every single stat from # of Zombies killed, teammates defib’ed, damage done to the tank, etc etc.
Plus it has several very entertaining and repeatable game modes. I loved scavenger. And versus was great too.
Left 4 Dead also had a way different dynamic than Brink. Brinks lame AI hardly creates a single player experience.
L4D’s AI director is just one reason why that game has a leg up on Brink. It is however almost like comparing apples and oranges as the theory behind the games are way different. But if you want to compare, L4D has several things over Brink, like Lobbies!
Funny because at the end of the round brink tells you who got the most kills most xp best medic and so on…
Also L4D never had a scavenge mode so I’m assuming you are talking about l4d2, and scavenge was just recycled map sections, compared to a full map it just wasn’t very good.
Plus all I see on the L4d2 forums are threads about how bad the AI director is, how it spawns uneven hoards and how the 25% difference in tank placement means that 1 teams get it at a bottle neck and one gets it in a open space.
Also by now L4D1/L4D2 were completely different on release to how they are now. There was lots of bitching on the forums…funny how people forget over time.
Just a note. I think the only hardcore mode there should be is that it should be more difficult to complete objectives in stopwatch mode. Period.
They need to give us more exotic weapons, maybe a missile launcher or something that knockbaks like the Lobster.

QFT
Not to mention how broken versus was on L4D1 initially with smokers being able to instakill you as soon as you left the spawn, being able to smoke you over gaps where you had no chance of survival. Oh, and the whole infected blocking the ONLY route with large inanimate objects thing that also plagued the first few months.
Brink is pretty solid by comparison for an initial release actually…

the point was, this wasn’t requests by ME…but requests that i have seen from other members across this forum (ok…the map count was just me going overboard LOL). by themselves, each of these requests are kinda silly. but when i grouped them up…it just shows the kinda CoD cloning that people seem to be begging for from this game. it shows that people are unwilling to learn THIS game unless it’s simply turned into CoD 2.75 lol
They didn’t pay extra for it…they were pre-order bonuses, meaning they still only payed the regular price to get them. But I do agree that the pre-order bonuses shouldn’t be offered to anyone who didn’t pre-order.
TDM - no thanks. not enough people play as it is without fragmenting the community even more.
k/d - hell no! this is a team based game. k/d is only useful on TDM games. k/d stops many people helping due to the fear of decreasing their k/d.
