i really dont understand why this nerf was needed.
as you allready probably know they made tyhe fragger nerf so that shit mercs like thunder will be played more often
but they also made a nerf to the conc nade.
so i really dont understand
why dont they just give thunder a buff and not to mess around with the conc nade and keep fragger out of the picture.
btw they decreased fragger’s health but didnt increased his speed.
please comment if you have an opinion about that

Btw, nerf to conc nade? Didn’t they make the slowness to movement speed better? I think thats better than the emp it had.
Fragger needed to be “brought down to size”. Quite literally. His move speed was based on 140hp anyway, so there’s no need to change it. In general he is an incredibly strong duelist and area denier. He’s still 20+ hp above any of the merc who he’d be dueling head on besides thunder, and thunder trades insta-frags for fused flashbangs w/ a slow mechanic and has a massive hitbox, so they seem perfectly well in line to me.
the 10hp is a big differnce and im not sure you are right when you said that he allready had a movemant speed based on 140hp
i dont think that they needed to mess with fragger,he is a heavy merc very slow the frag nade is 17sec wait cooldown time and he can only carry one
i dont think he needed to be more balanced

idk i know that they made the nerf to fragger because they wanted people to use thunder more often

@copperCucumber Hop into a game and go take a conc nade into your face, then come back saying they’ve been nerfed :'D Holy quacamole they’re even too good now, I have feeling Assault merc meta is definitely going to change soon enough.
Fragger was nerfed probably because he’s still being an absolute backbone of any competitive team, there are rarely any games where 1 Fragger in each team is not present. He did not lose much utility with this change, but is now more distinguishable from heavier Assault mercs. Interested to see how this change plays out.

it was a very retarded nerf …fragger is in the free rotation you can check him out and see that he is hard to play with…even before the nerf
he gets nerfed because noob players gets killed by him and than complain for a nerf
just like the fletcher nerf…there was nothing wrong with him
he is a vert difficult merc to use and learn how to
but noob players are noobs and all they do is complain insteed of trying to coop against fragger/fletcher or any other mercs that is “op”
I wouldn’t go that far, is he harder to play, sure, but his nade is pretty skill indexed, you either are good at frags or you’re not.
If you are, you’ll do a lot of work.

I’ve given Fragger a spin or couple enough times to know he’s still strong with 140hp. I’ve seen enough tournament /cup matches to know Fragger has always been used as pretty much an obligatory part of the team, so it’s not exactly the worst idea around to try to make other Assaults a worthy pick by giving him small nerf. And exactly what @Watsyurdeal said, you’ll get a bloody lot done if you’re good with him, 150hp or 140hp doesn’t change that fact by a huge margin.
So sure, whining has happened in the past, is happening as we speak adn guess what; will happen in future. But this change from Fragger’s part is not such an end of the world as you make it sound like.
However that is depatable if Thunder buff is too much or not. I do think he’s quite damn good, maybe a little too good. Didn’t see much of Proving Grounds last night but by what I heard Thunder was used a ton instead of Fragger, curious to see how Open Cup etc. “higher level” plays are gonna be next. It’d kill the purpose of these changes if Thunder just became new obligatory Assault pick instead of Fragger.
Let’s just leave it at that, I’m not even getting started on what you said about Fletcher.

i really think that this 10hp is a big deal
now i can die from a nader spam or a proxy mine…back then i could excape with like 6hp and look for some medic now it is very difficult considering his very slow movw speed.
btw thunder really is awesome now but you cant just take him and youre good
he needs to be taught how to play with
i see alot of thunder players that get lost in their own flashes
i think like 2 days ago i killed 2 thunders alone with sparx when they jumped me
it should have been an ez kill for them but they dont know how to use him
and third…fletcher really is a skill base merc…dont every sticky get stook to someone

The nerf to fragger is to make him more of an assault and let thunder and rhino be tankier. I guess. He was balanced and he is balanced yet. Let’s see if this nerf will change a lot of things in the future. Now he need a good team, more than before.
I just start to play Fletcher and even now after the nerf, he is to strong with his stickies, when you can stuck someone. And even with few hours playing him, I got it easily.

im playing fragger as you may realized by now and i play lv 10 min only servers and untill now not alot of thunder have killed be because of the conc
and lets say im not the best fragger out there(sometimes i kill thunders with sparx quite easily to :D)
