The EZ-Nade AGL and the Lobster GL

(MisterAngry) #1

Can’t be arsed to complain about the horrible ATI problems I have which better get fixed today…

So… What do you guys think about these two weapons?

I assume they’re more like supporting weapons (Especially the EZ-Nade AGL) that aren’t really meant to be like a LOLKILLEVERYONE type of weapon, and yet I feel as if though they’re either really weak or I’m using them very wrong.

Any tips?

Also, no I’m not a hurpderp CoD player. I see everyone bringing that nonsense into like every thread.

I use the EZ-Nade for support roles in Brink. It’s not meant to kill everyone in a room, just do some damage so your team can hopefully finish off the stragglers. The single shot one is kinda the same way but you gotta be more careful with your shots. So yes you are right they are support weapons. Good to see this wasn’t a complaining thread too.

The Maximus seems to be the real damage-dealer and the minigun is for, well, when the opponents have made a terrible mistake.

I can’t seem to tell if you love or hate the minigun…

But anyway I love all the heavy weapons so much!

I’ve used the lobster pretty much the whole time I played. Its a pretty nice all around weapon for close and long range if you get direct hits.

Firing right after reloading makes the spread all wonky and I only do that when I’m trying to annoy people at choke points on Security Tower.

You need to watch out in close quarters because when you direct hit, for the knockdown, the grenade bounces back towards you. I’ve killed myself many a time with that. I use a Galactic secondary to finish them off afterwards. Its nice because I can kill knockdowned people at assault rifle / long rifle range because it has low kick.

i personally don’t like the minigun. I feel like, in close quarters if the guy without the heavy-weapon runs into the gun with the minigun already spun-up he should be shreaded. it doesn’t play that way though. I’m cool with the mini-gun being rotten in ranged situation, but up close and personal I feel that the (hopefully) victim should experience an “oh <bleep>” type of moment.

Yeah out of the heavy weapons, it really seems like only the Maximus and maybe the Hjammerdiem is a good weapon to use in all situations.

The Chinzor and Gotlung just feels far too inaccurate to be useful in my opinion… I mean, if they’re supposed to be good at close range, fine. But I feel as if though SMG’s just outperform them at close range.

They offer great forms of area denial. This is especially true when you bounce the grenade around corners.

haven’t tried the EZ nade launcher yet. but the gottlung is my favorite so far when i t comes up to heavy support. mowed down lots of people with this bad boy!
