Note: This is not a mod! Simply a well rounded concept!
Thank you so much for 1k views!
This discussion is mainly about how me and many other Dirty Bomb players feel about the current menus of Dirty Bomb.
My goal for this thread is to nit-pick ideas gathered from the community to create the best remake of Dirty Bombs menus.
This can include anything that you may feel should be implemented into the base game.
Mercenary Selection Menu:

(Rundown is somewhat different, but same concept applies)
Rundown of Two:
http://i.imgur.com/lQTg9wV.jpg
#1 - The location of selecting your squad will be Barracks> Mercs> Squad.
#2 - The (future) roster of mercenaries. To select a merc for your squad, simply drag and drop the merc into one of the three squad locations.
#3 - The ability(s) of your current merc.
#4 - View loadout is exactly what it is, viewing your loadout card. It is exactly like clicking your card in the loadouts menu to inspect it.
#5 - The loadout cards augments, hover over one of the augments to get details of the selected augment.
#6 - Your loadout cards weapons.
#7 - A 3D Render of your merc, similar to inspecting your card. This includes a backdrop of the cards colors, for example, cobalt color is blue as seen on Phantom.
#8 - Swap merc is a quick button to select a different merc without drag and dropping, another roster will appear for you to select your merc, then card.
#9 - A quick button to change in the Squad menu the 3D renders Friendly color, to Enemy color.
#10 The loadouts number, name, and mercenaries name.
THE MAIN MENU:
This is the first iteration of the remade Main Menu:

At first glance it seems very simplified, and small. But making this area simplifed like it is to keep certain buttons close by.
Along side the menu, you might have questions!
Main Menu Rundown:
http://i.imgur.com/fBOlsMW.jpg
#1 - Squad, the earlier concept put into play!
#2 - Your current rank with added text, no need to hover over it.
#3 - Edit Clan Tag, now available without going to console to change it.
#4 - Like the current menu, friends on steam playing Dirty Bomb will be shown larger.
#5 - The most confusing, and with needed explaining, Mission Bank is a concept where you can hold onto missions that you want to save that aren’t in the current 3 mission locations that refill every three hours. Easily you can swap in and out of contracts, but you are limited to only 3 bank slots!
#6 - (Ignore the misspell) News with now with room for a second news showcase.
#7 - Dreams do come true?
THE LOBBY:
This is the first iteration of the remade Lobby:
http://i.imgur.com/2FoPDiX.jpg
With this menu, many things were shrunken down in size, like the chat. The chat can handle 3 lines of text, which to me seems just right.
The Lobby Rundown:
http://i.imgur.com/jzjZMyj.jpg
#1 - The Gamemode is displayed on the top, with the leave lobby button increased in size.
#2 - A random map is given which selects a random map that can be voted upon.
#3 - The biggest and most obvious, the merc selection in a hexagonal pattern, this system works very similar to the merc selection screen.
#4 - Players in the lobby have gotten very simplified. Level is only shown on the team that you are on, this concept is similar to competitive matchmaking.
#5 - Below the list of maps, the servers info, including the exact location of the server, in this example of a US East server, the server is in Washington DC.
THE LOADOUT MENU:
The loadouts menu is simply 3 squads that you can interchange from.
This can only be edited in the main menu!

The Loadout Menu Rundown:
http://i.imgur.com/MVP5SxQ.jpg
#1 - The location of the loadout menu will be Barracks > Loadouts > Loadout Menu
#2 - The first loadout you own and are given already.
#3 - You can rename your loadout, you are limited to 30 characters.
#4 - Your squad, you can change mercs by selecting “Edit Loadout,” this will bring up this menu: http://i.imgur.com/SizH9dC.jpg
#5 - A Brief description given to what merc is in your loadout.
#6 - Yes, each loadout set isn’t free. If you want to purchase this remedy, it will cost you 30,000 credits or $5.99 USD. This is the same cost of the cheaper mercs. (Arty, Proxy, Vassili, and Sawbonez)
THE TRADING MENU:
Similar to the Squad Selection menu, I based this image off Borderlands 2’s Trading.
http://gamingduty.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/Borderlands-2-Trading-Menu.jpg
Note: This idea is in-game only
Trading is only friends only, and not done in-game.
This feature is unlocked at level 10.
There is no chat, steam takes care of this.

The Trading Menu Rundown:
http://i.imgur.com/qyO4vuF.jpg
#1 - Trading will have it’s own tab in trading, and in the main menu.
#2 - Your inventory where you can see all of your loadout cards, credit boosters, and trinkets.
#3 - A empty slot for a card in your inventory, this card is up for trading if no card is shown.
#4 - Every trade has a limit of 10 cards each per trade. The example shown is 2 cards out of 10 cards being traded.
#5 - Accepting and Declining the trade, in the middle is the progress of the trade being completed.
#6- You are free to leave the trade at anytime by clicking exit trade. A box will appear to double check if you want to leave the trade.
#7 - How many credits you have. You can trade these along with cards, credit boosters, and trinkets.
#8 - How many credits you are trading, this amount is limited by how many credits you own. (IE: You have 200 credits, you can only trade 200 credits.)
#9 - A check mark to confirm the trade
#10 - The name of the person you are trading with.
THE PAUSE MENU:
The original pause menu only has changes like graphics, and resuming and leaving the game.
I added some stuff.

The Rundown:
http://i.imgur.com/bgW6EiZ.jpg
#1 - Options were organized down to advance options and general options. General has Game, and Control Settings. Advance has Video, Audio, and Spectator Settings.
#2 - Your missions that you can see progress in-game. This includes conformation that a mission is complete.
#3 - You can see your friends in your game, along with friends playing Dirty Bomb too.
#4 - You can change squad members in and out when you’re alive.
#5 - The Mercs you brought out to the match that you can change in the pause menu.
