the deployables bundles

So I was just looking at these 3 bundles and noticed that the sharpshooter (vassili, kira and arty) and the engineer/medic one (bushwacker, proxy and sawbonez) both were 15,99 euro.

the explosives bundle (nader, fragger and fletcher) is 19,99 euro.

I dont get how 2 mercs worth 30k and 1 merc worth 50k can be 16 euro’s and that 3 mercs of 50k can be 20 euro’s.

The normal prices if you bought these mercs seperate would be 22 euro’s for the cheaper bundles and it would be 30 euros for the more expensive bundle.

could anyone explain to me why the more expensive mercs (and also more game ruining imo) get a bigger discount compared to the cheaper ones, for me it doesn’t really make a lot of sense.

Never assume that logic is used when determining prices. :pensive:

More likely it is a ‘Buy 2 get 1 free’ type of thing is what it seems like.

I can’t recall the real $ price of the 30k mercs right now, but if their total is 22 then they are taking 6 euros off(which is about the price of one of those 30k mercs).

Meanwhile with the 30 euro pack, the price of 1 merc is 10 euro, so they pulled 1/3rd of the price off when they removed 10 euro from the total.

So yeah, it sounds like that is what happened when they were determining the price.

It is definitely still not a bad discount if you don’t have any of the mercs.

Makes sense that you get a bigger discount on a bundle that cost more. That’s the way of pricing for pretty much all games with microtransactions.

They include 2 elite cases as well. I believe that’s another $10 USD or 8 Euros.

I think its like £4.99 for the starter merc’s, not sure though so don’t take my word for it. The bundles are cool and are well worth the money as you do save in the long run, I would like to see new merc bundles in the future and maybe even consumable bundles with boosters and a few cases. If they are priced right then there would be room in the DB market for them.
