thats good. I havent been in game in 2 days. I only loaded up last night to get my stuff and do some card tradeups and open cases for stoker. Ended up with m4 silver stokcer with good loadouts. Another random gold rhino?? why do I get these? lol.
The Containment War? More like Ammo Deficiency War!

well defenders on underground need someone giving ammo on the last stage. This will always be a problem and part of the game balance for that map that I think is interesting.
So if you dont see any ammo on that stage switch to a ammo giving class because thats what the team needs.
Except they added an ammo crate next to the defenders spawn.
thats a shame. It was an interesting dynamic. Although running back to spawn in that situation is worse then death.
It’s a blessing you mean. Before running out of ammo as defender on underground last stage it only means you wait to suicide until the spawn count is low, because going for the previous only ammo cache was pretty much the same thing.
biggest issue is phoenix for everyone. Low lvl players, and not even low lvl cares about own health now and not reviving/giving health at all.
I see the same amount of ammos around, if you are in a semi-decent team. If your only fire supports are level 2-4 then it’s no surprise…
People play stoker: ammo station’s everywhere.
It has never been easier to find ammo
I think its to make the portable ammo stations more useful, it makes more sense to me to have a health & ammo station in the same position (or multiple positions if you have at least 2 auras and 2 kira/stoker’s) at least on defense anyway. Maybe this will also stop the ammo pack free exp spam at the start of every god damn spawn wave.
Wow you did a wrote a novel for some Xp point, personally this didnt changed my way of playing i still give ammo as much as i can and now i do it with Stoker, i didnt changed because i didnt even noticed because i dont really care of the number of xp i get, im helping teamate this will make us win maybe, and rule #1 Dont be a Dick
It’s been the polar opposite for me, with the amount of stokers around I usually see a lot of deployed ammo stations. Actually been surprised hat I haven’t had to run to the ammo caches very much since the new update
Yeah Support Missions now are next to impossible, I don’t bother giving ammo as skyhammer anymore because its obvious that the developers want to discourage that.
Then go play Fragger and do the community a favor. You shouldn’t drop ammo to get the XP, you drop them to make your team win instead of dying trying to reach an ammo cache.

I vote /sarcasm

I dropped plenty of ammo all the time before the patch when the game rewarded the player for doing so. But the developers don’t want us playing Skyhammer this way, so they changed the way the game rewards you for it. If you have a problem with Skyhammers not dropping ammo, tell SD to change the game. I’m just playing the way the developer wants the game to be played.
And Fragger is too slow, Skyhammer is a better assault class.
fire support xp easily balances the change.
in the end its about what type of player you are. if you refuse to give ammo, medics are likely going to ignore your sorry self lying on the ground helplessly. if you refuse to give ammo your team will often get stomped giving you less xp as well. winning the map usually results in 1.5-2x the xp of the losers from all those xp bonuses and stomp-badges
It sounds like you played skyhammer in both instances how the developers did not want. Sounds like you’re the guy who spawns and throws out all your ammo packs right away thinkg “BAM XP” and “I did a good thing, I gave ammo to everyone who spawns” while never pressing E again until the next respawn. Now, you sound like the same guy who wants his 120 insta-xp for spawning…
Instead of giving ammo before/after firefights when it is most needed… LIKE THE DEVS INTENDED

Nope.tiff
I scoured the map looking for people who need ammo and literally chased them down if they had a low ammo icon hovering over them, despite the fact that many seemed to run away from my ammo packs.
I wouldn’t drop them all at spawn because most wouldn’t be picked up.
I’ve seen ammo flying everywhere. The problem is probably more that there is an army of Phoenixes in every game with the obsidian card doing terribly so ammo is more of a problem.
The best part of the change was that they changed it from low XP to high XP back in April during the Fletcher update.
'Experience System
Increased the XP given for support actions and general ability usage
"This is to balance out XP earn rates amongst the Mercs and also encourage more use of these abilities.’
This made it from about what it is now, to what it was pre-patch.
Don’t forget, that original change was based on ECHO data. Either the data was wrong or the devs misinterpret it.
Apparently they want me to stop shooting and covering my team to throw ammo to my team midfight, essentially getting my own team killed. Bloody brilliant.
I have limited time to play and like to get 1-2 sets of missions done in 1-2 hours. Support XP is now like game mode XP. It’s entirely dependent on teams being evenly matched, otherwise you get barely any.
Well i always drop 1 or 2 at spawn so people can get that extra clip at the start. Unless I need to get somewhere fast I dont see it being a issue. I always beeline for ammo packs at spawn because I want that extra clip when not playing a ammo class.
But the guys throwing ammo packs on other skyhammers are fucking dumb.
