Hey Dirty players,

There are some known issues for this update. If you come across any other aside from the listed below that ARE RELATED TO THIS UPDATE, please post in this thread with as much detail as possible. If it’s a server related issue, please specify the EXACT server name and time, along with your time zone. Screenshots, gifs, and videos are always helpful and welcomed.

KNOWN ISSUES:

  • UI Functionality - Matchmaking - If a member in a party leaves a Casual/Ranked Match in progress and returns to the Frontend, UI issues can occur
  • UI Functionality - Matchmaking Party - A player kicked/disconnected from a Matchmaking Party will be sent to a blank Play screen
  • Level Design - Overground - Missing collision on section of scaffolding in Scaffold Overpass

We are also aware of the server crash issues and are working to resolve them.

Just posted the below on Reddit. Unsure if it’s related to the update but as this is the first time ranked has been online in a while think it could be relevant

I tried MM earlier and had an odd result. I was in a duo queue and when the game was found we both accepted as you’d expect. It then transferred the other guy in my party to the server but not me. This meant I was stuck in the party screen with no options to join the server and the other guy in my party was sat in the server until it closed due to one person not connecting (i.e. me).
This would explain why we get this last person not connecting which results in frustrations as I was that soldier despite doing everything I was supposed to. It would be interesting if we could find out why this is happening as it puts me off attempting to play rank even more if that also has RNG in it!

I’ve seen a slight UI bug in the profile section, the weapon icons refused to load until I moused over some UI elements like the “next page” button after a few seconds.

Not sure if the bug is new or not though, it all worked before the update.

In Lobby for pub games, occasioanlly the steam avatar menu is unavailable. Doesnt show case drops or mission progress. No idea how to replicate but it happens multiple times a day for me.

Not sure about this but it seems that in execution, if you die then going AFK for 1 minute (because of your death, so no use of keyboard), you are being votekick with the new system.

Can you please comment on the size of game packets before and after the patch. For some reason, the game feels slowed down a bit, but it could be from my end. I’m still checking why the server tick rate seems slower than normal.

So, i found a very minor glitch. It’s that if you go in the vent in the gallery and die, when you get revived you get stuck. (Couldn’t confirm if re-crouching would fix it since i died again).

Happens every time, or game freezes and cant even open task manager. Anyway, I cant get into match lobby.

I beg for one bigger update without issues. Last one resolved server performance decreasing, but this one adds server crashing.
I understand creating and updating multiplayer game isn’t easy at all, but this game seriously needs more people.

I haven’t been able to finish a bloody game all day. I’ve tried three times today, and for each game at totally different times of day every time the game clock hits 0:00 I get disconnected and get 0 credit for matches. I’ve only tried Objective mode, but this has been so damned frustrating that I’ve only tried the damned three matches today.

Every. Damn. Time. Twice I was top score, only to not get a damn lick of credit…

I always choose low ping rooms (>50) and my ping is always low when this happens. I’m not using wireless and I’ve got fiber op net, so I don’t understand the disconnects for a damn second.

That’s because the entire servers are crashing. I got disconnected 2/5 times last night so I just gave up on trying anymore until it’s resolved.

The lobby loaded and everything, we were able to chat, but when it launched it kicked me out and spammed the chat with the above message.

Chat keeps intermittently not working between games. Is this a new feature or a bug? I think it’s every time the mercs get locked in you can’t see any new chat messages. It still lets you type them out though.

Yeah but that was a thing before this update, I’ve had that happen about 5 seconds before mercs get locked in but recently it’s been sometimes working up until the game starts like normal.
