Hi,

Thank you for the answers. The solution was very simple. I used larger brushes and the q3map2 compiler ran like a lightning. A simple change with an enormous effect. It dropped the compilation time from infinity to just 4 minutes. Unbelievable but it is true.

Congratulations, sd2009. I’m glad that you found a solution. Q3map2 is strange like that; making small changes to a map can drastically change the compilation time.

Hi,

I got three huge projects in my real life. I have no time left in the moment for this project. My real life projects will end in July 2016 but I shall be enjoying my vacation until mid September 2016. In October, I should restart working on my rtcw projects. I must correct some errors and some beauty errors in my three maps. sp_muenchen2.pk3 will not be modified, because it is only a sandbox not a real map. sp_bybloscat1, sp_bybloscastle, sp_byblosharb will be considered.

Someone knows what’s happened with project?
I saw, on Vicpas youtube channel a video with Byblos Castle and Byblos catacombs, more than 1 year ago.
The maps seems to be ready or allmost ready.
Why this maps weren’t been released?
Maybe Vicpas knows more…

I think that sd2009 has either temporarily stopped the project or in the worse case scenario, abandoned it. Neither Vicpas nor I have heard anything from sd2009 since 2015 or 2014. We privately tested some of his maps (there are still more that he planned to include in his project that haven’t been tested yet), but he never responded to our emails afterwards.

I can’t give you a definite answer at this time, melc_av. All we can do is wait for now.

I didn’t know that was planned to be more than 3 maps in Byblos project (Byblos Harbour - allready relesed, first relase, Byblos Castle and Byblos Catacombs). I hope to finish the project.
Is to sad to lose this incredible work. I don’t know about other maps but, at last Byblos Castle and Byblos Catacombs seems to be finished.
I know that he planned another map but in project Munich - Munich 2.
