Everyone here talking about Hanzo, while I’m sitting here wondering about the Fistful of Frags bow arc.

FoF did bows the best, the higher you aim the wider (is that correct word?) the arc, and the further the arrow goes. Like throwing javelin stick.

I expect his crossbow to work like grenade launcher, arrows flying the same way as grenades. Unless they wider the arc.

I Actually would really love to see this!! it would add more depth and skill to the merc!

Give him an ability that lets him lash out some japanese gibberish and shoot meme dragons and this game will increase its autism levels with 20x

Tbh I’m heckin excited for Hunter. Holding out hope beyond hope that he’s a recon with something like poisoning arrows or marking arrows, something different. Guardian was a real miss for me, unfun to play and not effective enough to warrant being picked over another medic or even Turtle. Im praying that he’s more like an actual Hunter/assassin, meant to shoot and move quickly, constantly shifting position to keep the enemy off guard.

Honestly anything as long as his abilities aren’t straight up assault.
We have so many assault mercs now. Not just under the assault class, but mercs like Javelin, Guardian, and hell, even all of the fire support mercs are basically assault already. But for an objective and teamwork based game, it just seems weird that there are so many mercs that don’t encourage a real team based approach at all.
Like, a passive ammo ability or a passive spotting ability. Sure, they help our team, but they don’t actively encourage you do do so. You can still do fine playing Skyhammer as only an assault merc, but with mercs like sparks, you’re not going to do well at all if you don’t help your team. I’d much rather more sparks-type mercs than skyhammer type mercs if you know what I mean.

Wish I could hit agree more than once. This is everything.

@STARRYSOCK
Reminded me of the first time my friend picked up Phoenix for the first time and got almost more XP than I did just because he taphealed some people on the go and was just going for kills while I was trying out be a good medic and just died because of it.
As for hunter I just hope his crossbow will do low damage but like marks people for death and decreases their max health or something. The last thing we need are more recons that want to go full CoD and be loner in this game.
