Personally I don’t find it that bad, but I’m not really blown away from it either, it’s not really too crazy unlike phantom or proxy was. Her top and bottom both have completely different designs, and the yellow and white isn’t really that similar to the other obsidian operatives in theme. The fletcher style gloves and proxy style tire arms are back again too, but eh.
Her hair though, I’m really not a fan of it.

I’d probably still buy it if it weren’t a shotgun only loadout though, I skipped proxy for the same reason. For someone like phantom sure whatever, give him one loadout, all the SMG cards play out more or less the same. But shotgun and SMG cards come with such different playstyles that there are a lot of people who like one but not the other.
I mean, they already made an obsidian blish with fletcher so it shouldn’t be too much of a big deal, why do they keep releasing single loadouts for mercs? It would take such little effort to give us more options.
They got around to giving us a shotgun fletcher eventually, but who knows if they’ll do that again with how inconsistent SD is.

Im gonna buy it as I have lots of left over RADs from the ranked points conversion and nothing to spend them on, but I probably wont use it as its another shotgun.

I know SD have said the Obsidians have default loadouts to appease p2w concerns, in that case give the defaults loadouts an overhaul so we dont get screwed over on the Obsidians! Give that bish a blish

I for one like Shotguns( I know, burn me alive) and I’m now really sad that I wasted my rads on the Proxy card, as Aura is my favorite merc. And I’m not really wanting to dish out 10 bucks to buy her now. Not a fan of the double buns either, but neither of her default hair honestly. Guess for now I’ll just stick to my cobalt.

Idk, seems kinda weird they’d reason that when you can still buy a case with real money and get a fancy, non default card out of it lol

Another nice looking but ultimately pointless shotgun Obsidian. SD clearly does not want me to spend my RADs and I’m happy to comply. :expressionless:

Honest opinion? I think it looks terrible. I like the color scheme and that’s about it. Also, the shotgun…

At second glance, she now reminds me of Cyrax from Mortal Kombat.

Imo it’s one of the better Obsidians especially when you compare it to worse ones like Proxys Aimees or Turtles. I also dont have any issues with shotguns being the loadout either.

The real reason I’m not getting it is because I never use Aura

It’s one of the worst obsidians in color, right up there with Turtle.

I don’t find the colour bad, but like I said I find it weird her top and bottom half have different colour themes. The orange and black we’ve seen before, same with the yellow and white. I definitely wouldn’t put it on the same level as turtle lol. I mean, her top half is basically the proxy obsidian

Apologies, I should have said style. They went overboard with the rubber tire shoulders, the cow eyes, her tiny little hair balls, they just did something to her face that doesn’t match her voice.

Honestly I really like what they did with her shin guards and utility belt, but her whole top half (which is the part most seen) is a total bummer for me.
