the augment springy doesnt work

hello so I got a phantom with springy on it and tried to use it when I tried it would only let me jump 2 times off the wall so I then went on to another phantom with springy and it still didn’t work idk y and if this is only with phantom so yea

The augment does not grant you a third jump. It allows your momentum to carry into your third jump. Big difference. All mercs can jump three times if that have that much air time.

Yeah I gotta add to that ‘what’. I thought it gave 3 wall jumps. Or am I thinking of another perk.

I feel like that augment should award you a third wall jump though. I don’t feel like it’s such a huge bonus, but it can be very useful for mercs that oftenly use ambushes.

Every merc loses momentum on their 3rd regular jump, slowing you to a walk. Springy lets you jump 3 times normally without losing momentum. It has nothing to do with wall jumps.

Ardez and CornJester are correct, though I wish it did provide an extra wall jump. It would be much more worth having if that were the case.

I thought mercs only lost momentum after long jumps.

Nope, if you are a bunny hopping machine you are going to lose momentum on your 3rd jump, unless you have this augment.

Also after your third jump in a row. Although you can just take like two running steps and it resets the counter.

Worst perks top 3 (feel free to disagree):

  1. Sneaky (10%, Come on)
  2. Flying Pig (doesn’t work, not too good even if worked)
  3. Pineapple Juggler (only good on paper).

At this point, if you count perks that does not work, you can add Cool, Focus, Lock On and more to the list.

Cool works though. It DOES take longer for the MGs to overheat, does what it says it does.

Now you’re all confusing me more. You say it’s broken, someone else says it not only works but works in hip fire despite saying it works during iron sights/scope only. (Focus that is).
