If you use the Key angles with its three values set the model will show up in game about 90 degrees off from what you see in the editor. Do you have any idea why this is happening to MD3’s now? It used to only be .ASE files. Thanks 
The Angles key is Borked on both .MD3 and .ASE models in .36

We might release a minor update to 1.2.11 that will re-sync GtkRadiant with Q3Map2.
