Thats what you call a matchmaking!

I’m curious how they have programing the matchmaking system…
It happens a lot to play against cobalts in unfair teams with lack of competition on ranked games…

Probably was a premade team

not probably this is for sure, if you see the photo above…
and this isn’t the 1st time!
if they want to carry a silver to anywhere the system has to hold them in queue until a fair team comes up!!!

the logic: hmm 2 cobalts let’s matchmaking them against a silver team (let’s watch and laugh…) doesn’t work and make the game uncompetitive

and this isn’t the only problem, i see many times 2 pairs of premades in the same team and the other team its only solo players (nice sharing)

I dont wanna play with people with same or better skilled than me!

well then it beats the purpose of ranked system doesnt it?

The issue isn’t the matchmaker itself but rather the lack of players (especially good ones).
Unfortunately because no cobalt players were available to match them at that point of time they ended up in your match. Obviously that’s less than ideal but sometimes there is simply little to no choice.

It beats the purpose of ranked if it is advertised as matches with people of similar rank beforehand.
Why do junior football teams not play against world cup winners in a competitive game? Oh right, because they’re not in the similar league.
Silvers/Unrankeds against Cobalt should not happen. Ever. The game should rather notify them of the fact that there are no players of similar rank in the queue and quit searching. Or stay at the point of a rank instead of expanding into oblivion.
@Kirays The game should quit queueing for them rather than throwing a bunch of meat at them for a quick win.
I play a game with a far smaller playerbase than DB. It has a matchmaking system with 5 different equipment tiers. it does not simply throw the highest against low-tier players. It stops the queue at their tier or one below. You have to wait, but you don’t frustrate some weak players.

Amd thos is why i stopped playing ranked 95% i was always on the loosing team. There was always
1-2 players that finish with less than 1k while other team were all over 10k each. And i always got paired with bronse or unranked whlile other team was high silver and up.

Premade groups seem to be indicated with colors now. In this case the 2 cobalts and the silver were in the same group (yellow bar at the right) while the bronze and unranked were solo.

I see your premade Cobalt pair + Silver and raise you a full 5-man premade team with 3 Elite Operatives, 1 Cobalt and 1 Silver:

On the positive side, that match was so unbalanced I lost less than 4% of my progression for that defeat :stuck_out_tongue:

They really just need to make it either soloq only or full 5 stack.
