that -lomem flag

assuming i don’t care about compile times, if i use the -lomem switch on the light phase of the compile, does this mean i can knock my gridsize back down to 128 128 256? i’m working on a huge outdoor map for JKA (see my bizarre fog thread) and i’m at the point where i have to use -lomem anyhow just to get the light phase to run. since i’m now using it, can i put the gridsize back to where i liked it?

The -lomem switch disables the raytracer optimization. The RT optimization phase trades memory for time by optimizing the tracing BSP. That’s all it does.
