First im new to this forum so hello All

Second thanks for this game, I really enjoy playing Brink on PC.

Im 1 of those oldskools that started playing W:ET in 2003 and never stopped, Brink is the only game since then that have kept me away from W:ET almost a month, never happend before :slight_smile:

I know there still are flaws in the game, and I also have a lot of wishes for it, but il start getting involved in the debate here on forum and adress those issues in the proper threads for it.

This post is merely Me saying thanks for the game, ive been waiting a while for a game like this :slight_smile:

Well I have Played QW, infact i think We had 1 ranked and 2 proservers in Qube, i just couldnt get the feeling into it, might have been the vehicles or the stroggs dunno :slight_smile:

was the same for me :slight_smile:
I played about 120-150h ET:QW and went back to good old W:ET because the public game was never as much fun in QW than it was in Wolf due to good vehicle players on one side owning the whole opposite team and somewhat ruining the game for me.

So I played W:ET until I got my 26" display and stopped playing cause I feared eye-cancer :wink:
Luckily Left4dead came out that year, which was (and still is) really great. Sadly Valve somewhat killed the community by releasing, imho, a crappy sequel way too early.

Anyway, I was waiting for a new “SD-style” online-game ever since I stopped playing W:ET and Brink, so far, hasn’t disappointed me. Gameplay is great, community could be a bit bigger, but I have had more fun in my 100+ hours Brink than I ever had playing ET:QW.

Well I can understand as I too needed some time to adapt to ETQW.

I especially miss a few features from wolf:ET : the flamethrower, the mortar, opening doors as disguised only…

But ETQW brought in a bit larger scales-battle, with vehicles that can still be killed from constant focus fire of normal weapons, good deployable uses and mines, as well as neat gadgets (camera, drone, shield, supply crate…) that made the gameplay rich enough to keep me busy for several years on the nicely designed maps (well maybe quarry was a bit more difficult to handle). Nice trickmoves to learn as part of the long-run learning curve too.

Anyway, I plan to give Brink my whole attention now.

Yeah Well this game is the closest to ET ive Seen an Played, which is what ive wished for, idc about Cod or BF etc.

Good Game.

Those of you that remember early days of ET also remembers people asking for improvements and we got them, which im sure we also will here.

i guess but its civilized have you ever seen bethesda forums??

that what made me give up trollin magne i mean geez they are awful humans at least people here are intelligent and dont just attack people.

welll i guess people here are alot older too.

oh yeah and enjoy your stay
