Through these ~five months of mapping i learned lots of things about Et, but without the help of all the masters, here in this forum, my first map would not exist. Big thanks to Ifurita, Madjack, NullSkullz, and maybe others. As i said, my first map is a bit foolish, um and of course n00b, but i did my best to do it. From a week or so, i am looking for a free international web provider which is able to provide my map for the public. maybe it will be etmaps.de. again tnx to everyone who helped me. have a :beer: and ChEEr :clap: :banana: :clap:

PS. The map is called " PoM" - short from Pirates of Mediterranian, and presents the fight between axis & allies on 3 islands, where axis find much gold, in a temple, thus providing their expensive weapon experiments…

Victo, no probs. We’re all here to help each others.

Also, and I’m not saying that to criticize you, but I know English is not your first language so I highly suggest you have the map’s messages and descriptions being proofread. It’ll reflect good on you. IMO, there’s nothing like read bad English.

Oh and don’t worry, I have mine proofread too! :slight_smile: We should ALL do it.

hah… Madjack, the map is, translated in very Good English, because the messages are not long :smiley: and also i am trying to improve my usage of the language… um, i want to ask ya, was ur first map too n00bish?

I did a lot of test maps before shyly submit my first map to the Quake 3 community. It wasn’t played very much if at all. But that’s alright. Thinking about it now, about 5 years ago, it was of very low quality. Uh make that no quality. :smiley:
