Thanks for the games guys!

Had to post, that I had a brilliant night playing with some of the boardies here, really fun even if we didn’t get a server with the new maps on!

Awesome teamwork throughout, new friends made and to top it off I lose my UAV Victim cherry to s.t.a.l.e FISH, brilliant!

Have to say I am loving the Rokstedi so damn much I even got accused later on of using an aimbot, priceless!!

:stroggbanana:

Games a lot better with people to play with!

Anyways, I hope more of this stuff comes, just be sure not to be TOO cruel to the nublets.

There certainly are more servers lately that’s for sure. I even checked in at lunchtime today GMT and there were 27! I’m glad to see the DLC has at least breathed new life into the game, lets just hope it lasts.

It isn’t so much the DLC, but the fact it’s got a free weekend on Steam. That lets everyone play and most of the time everyone downloads it and tries it out at least once or twice. The real player numbers will arrive on Monday and then you’ll see how much the DLC helped/hurt the game.

I was there last night, bringing the heavy soldier gotlung/maximus/chinzor love to the struggle!

I have to say, 8 games and I only lost one because I felt sorry for the Resistance and turned coat to join the struggle! (Still hilarious to pwn Cep with a Maximus and most excellent trash talk, Ceppy swears like a trooper).

Brilliant team members on both sides. Epic war raging in Resort, Security Tower, Aquarium etc… but no new maps made the vote! Weird huh?

Best game was the final match I was online for, the titanic struggle for the Security Tower. Last second overtime plant at the gate. Last second overtime hack in the office. Even then, the game went to the wire with a desperate lone Resistance member charging through the hail of bullet fire to try to open the Infirmary door just as the last seconds ticked away and nearly made it too… Epic. Epic. Epic. Nice to see Security members switching teams to help the poor Guests salvage some pride (quite possibly some new players on the freebie night). Best game ever and just shows what Brink can bring to the table with two good, evenly matched teams. Loved it.

And yes, Cep does rock with the Rokstedi. So much so that I am now desperate to try the gun myself!

So yes, I agree with Cep, great nights gaming. Made a lot of new Steam Brink friends right there.

Loved the fact that instantly, with no communication, we seemed to split into two teams of four, one of each class in each team, buffing, reviving each other and mowing down the Resistance/Security as if it was second nature.

I dont want to talk your fun bad, but its really no problem to mow down whole teams with the amount of noobs running around this weekend

You missed the part about people switching teams to even it out.

Thats what made the night even better, having a blast one minute with a team mate, then next map, even more fun shooting them in the face.

Brilliant game Fireworks, wish you could have been there

I wished I was actually. Hard to find a proper game with good opposition and my last encounter with Ceppy was a really nice match
