Lol… omg… I am completely confused now, ok, Ill explain it from the start:

you have 2 computers one with radiant another with ET.

  1. Radiant:

When you use the texture in radiant it is situated in one of the *.pk3 files. To search them for a texture you have to rename them into *.zip file and unpack and then search. The texture IS in this packs, in one of them.

  1. ET:

If you get black and yellow squares, this means that the texture is NOT found in ANY of the packs in etmain folder of the game.

Hope this will help a little bit

so if i am getting it right, i just need to search for the texture name in *.pk3

(* is in all paks cept the user maps afcourse)

then add them to textures in my map.pk3

That right?? i am realy sorry for asking this all but i am stilla newb ^^

Do you have usermade maps in your mapping ET?

Its all right, I am basicly a noob as well ^^

You will hvae to search through all pk3 files, as it is possible that you used non standard texture

And yes, you just add it to your pk3 file. BUT:!

When you find needed texture, create a folder textures/ in your Radiant (where all the pk3 files are), then create a folder MYMAP (so it is C:/bla/bla/bla/textures/MYMAP). Then reload Radiant, load MYMAP textures and reapply it to the road.

Otherwise the map will still link to some other texture. It might have the same name, but different path.
