i was using some rtcw x-lab textures
and some of et x-lab textures wich are supplies in pak0 now…
when i compiled and tested it it was all orange… so i writen a .shader file 2 recognice these textures jah all was fine all is working but the question is : why it didnt recognice the x-lab textures wich were allready on et pak0.pk3 files huh?

although you shouldn’t really use the RTCW textures as they are copyrighted - the problem with missing textures could be one of many things. Typically, the ET textures have slightly different names than the RTCW ones. Alos, were you running in pure mode or not? If you are in pure mode (console command \sv_pure 1) then only textures form pak files will be used. Any textures in the textures folder are ignored.

about the copy right i know it is but actually i just completed the xlab texture set thats all i mean most of them are allready in et
