Texture Lights

Hi,
I know i’ve seen this done before and was asking how do you make a texture emit light?

Well… where have you seen it?

Its used in Goldrush in the lamps for example… so I d suggest you check the shaders they used for that. Its a shader setting (hint hint).

Can’t find anything in the goldrush shader file. Can you be more specific?

Find one of the lights or just one of the windows that emit light. Check for the name of the shader in the texture window, then find that shader… also you could just check the lights.shader?
