Terrible support, bored.

Ok, Sd and Beth forums are full of people having this freezing issue that make completely impossible even to load the main page and no one answers.
The fact is, you released a non finished game, at least anwer us and help us cause if the fix doesn’t come soon you are actually selling a broken game and i don’t know who can afford a like 300.000 full refund asks…

I really love the game and the only bad thing is the terrible programmed matchmaking, but now i completely can’t play it with a lot of other people and i think all those crashes and freeze will also harm the ps3 so i’ve to stop playing it… i bought it the first day and i can’t play= refund.ù

Why is the support so bad made and why don’t you completely care of us? At least te “whe don’t have any idea of what is happening” but getting complete silence after spending 60 euros on a project i support is really making feel a gambled idiot…

thanks.

I have it for the PS3 and i’m not experiancing any issues. Once and a while there is lag in a match due to a player’s slow connection, but that’s it. I have played everyday since the release day and still having fun.

I haven’t had an issue with it freezing, though I had one with it crashing just before loading the main screen. All I had to do was update my drivers. Have you tried that yet? Also, if you’re a PC user, do you use an ATI or nVidia card as the ATI users have all kind of issues that I think I read ATI was going to fix with new drivers.

Kinda funny as community is trying to Save the Ark and some are Escaping the Ark
I meant Brink :stuck_out_tongue:

I never saw in any game a community that is trying desperately to save the ark.
err… wait? Save the Brink lol

The developers constantly visit the forums to find out new information that the community has to offer for Brink in order to improve the game. While they do not answer in every thread they do read them as they have stated themselves.

Game making is never an easy job, keep that in mind.

I don’t think anyone is arguing that making games are easy. The OP’s point is that SD doesn’t communicate with its community which honestly is a major faux pas in the internet age. Seriously … if you work at SD and you are reading this, google the cluetrain manisfesto and read it twice. You’re losing your supporters.

On a personal story, I used to work for a very well known sports company (the name begins with an E and ends with an N) building their fantasy games. We released one game in really bad shape, so a bunch of us took the forums as we were fixing it. It didn’t make the fixing any easier, but it reassured the base which was huge. We were on every single day, fielding the hate mail while tweaking the bad spots. Some of people provided such insightful feedback that we included them in our internal testing procedures and we kept the main part of our audience from migrating over to another service.

It was a huge win as the real hardcore users became ambassadors who would shout any messages that we needed to get out. SD needs to do a little of that mojo. They did a bang up job of selling the game before release. They now need to continue that push or there will be no one left by the end of the summer.

Just sayin’

Even gain sixty euros and spend it in a non working product is not that easy job.
the fact is the it’s mad to realease something that causes so many problems to all platformas (my one is ps3) and after such an error you have to take care of your costumers like sony did after black out, or you’ll loose all your costumer.
I don’t ask an immediate solution, i just ask for a fast “we are trying to solve it” just to patch the fact that the product is corrupt for a lot of players. At least you can feel like Sd admits his problems and tell you sorry and help you.
Cause if they worked bad before release they can at least work good now.

Try to think to the ones that buy it today and get an issue like mine, change disc and get it again… if you buy a television that doesn’t work you get another or your money back, that’s must be the same for a game.

Interesting analogy; resistance = community, security = devs/publishers.

I wonder how that would affect the game stats if people were to think of it that way.
