i have a quite large terrain and recently, i got the MAX_VISIBILITY error in vis -fast and i tried setting the blocksize up to 2048 and adding quite large hint brushes throughout the map, but it didn’t help anything, the map became compilable after making the terrain detail, but as i made the terrain, to block vis through high hills between the serpentines, so things on the serpentine bellow have not to be drawn, this is now useless, as vis goes through detail. also the skybox now has to be closed to the bottom. do you think it is wise to do so? how can i block vis, anyways, do i have to build a construction of caulk brushes underneath the terrain vor vis?
and btw, what is the skip texture for?
