the pitch black side is prob just in the shade. place a light entity there to see if it brightens up.im working with these issues right now myself so im no expert.you can change the angle of your sun shader to change the “lenghth” of your shadows.

Do you have a screenshot in game? Is your terrain only made from 4 surfaces/triangles? How exactly are you testing your terrain, a boxmap?

I’ve reimported my terrain that I generated from EasyGen and was not able to recreate the error. I appreciate your time. Perhaps this is just one of those strange things that happens from time to time.
