I have created a decent looking terrain entity in Easygen with 4 different textures alpha blended on it. I pasted it into my .map file, and the environment (buildings and such) sits on top of the terrain entity. The exterior areas are lit by a custom sky shader I made. I have compiled the map many times after further editing with no lightmap problems. Suddenly, now my underlying terrain entity is completely black, not lightmapped at all, as if none of the sky shader’s emitted light is hitting it. All of the other structures in that area (buildings and such) are lit just fine. I can’t figure out how or why this is happening? Anyone have any ideas?
I can’t get my terrain lightmapped, and it’s driving me nuts!
I can’t figure out if I screwed up my .map files shader file, or the shader file made by Easygen. I don’t know where to look for the problem!
