Temperate trees (remapshader?)

I’m trying to get some trees similar to those on radar. Tall, temperate trees. Not those little bushy ones but big trees.

The problem is I cant find a model for this, the closest tree models (ie models\mapobjects rees_sd ree_a.md3) are snow, from fueldump/railgun.

Atm, I’m thinking that the best way of doing this is to use the snow tree model, then do
_remapshader1 snowleaves;temperateleaves
_remapshader2 snowtrunk;temperatetrunk

Would anyone happen to already have the right _remaps to do this? Or am I taking the wrong track? Anyone got that md3 :D?

well, if you open the pak0.pk3 file in ETmain whit winrar/winzip you can open the folder called “model” there you find the trees you are looking for :wink: you have to go there cause they haent been exracted from GTKradiant, you will aslo find many other models there :wink:

Well just use (with a decent modelscale):

models/mapobjects/temperate_sd/tree_temperate_high.md3

(small tipp: to find out what models look like, browse through them with EasyGen… I know Radiant sux for that)
