London is a diverse city with many parks, architecture and oddities. Sure you’re not going to be getting much desert warfare but I think there is enough scope to have house to house, street to street and open ground fire fights. The sun has also been known to shine once in a while in Britain too. :slight_smile:

I do hope there are plenty of night time and foggy maps.

I’d like to read that he wasn’t going to put a lot of criticism or praise into it for that exact reason. Sure beats people who see the trailer and then write off the game as Brink 2 or a total failure.

from the teaser i assume it’s another call of duty wannabe… Splash damage has never been able to make something innovative.
Even ET was the bad copy of rtcw :slight_smile:

Wolf ET include a lot of inovation in the RTCW gameplay and ETQW was really inovative with asymetric gameplay.
Hope something in the right line of this 2 games !

Well if there will be radars, please make teams equally balanced. Now in QW gdf has advantage over strogg because of 3rd eye. Anansi/RL whores raping radar like 24/7. Drone is just useless.

Dark times for console players. Dread man, truly dread. That aside I’m always a big fan of SD art design, it may look like Brink but that’s not a bad thing, Brink LOOKED amazing, just was a bit limited in the gameplay department.

well, i did a per frame analysis (i just looked at each frame) in sony vegas. you actually only get to see one frame of gameplay at the second half of the video.

what i saw was very limited though. there were proper ragdolls. there was a female model that seemed to be a engineer. there were ammo packs on the ground and different looking character models which indicate either character customization or different classes. there was a shotgun, another full automatic rifle and a pistol. there was no ironsight used in the video. the tank obviously is from a escort mission. the tank can shoot which instantly reminded me to some of the classic wolf:et maps.

I just hope the movement system remains similar to W:ET and ET:QW. Which means: Strafe jumping, strafing sideways while sprinting, fiiring weapon while sprinting and a sprint bar.

Nice! I’m excited to see something about the new game. I haven’t found a good game since ETQW, so I will be trying this one out for sure! Graphics don’t mean as much to me as great gameplay mechanics. Please focus on this above all else.
