This is just a rant. I mean no offense. I have played about 20 games in the past two days. Guess how much I have won? Big fat 0. You would think with a 50% chance to be on either team I would win at least one. Nope. I understand, I should not get so frustrated about winning, and just have fun, but it’s hard to do that because when teams are losing, people leave, then you get spawncamped/steamrolled, it’s like dominoes. It just isn’t fun when you can’t do anything because of teammates. I have had really fun games where we lost, because it was a good game, people were nice and played fair, but spawncamping, outnumbering, etc are not fun. I am often at the top/close to the top of the leaderboard on these games, and I try to give advice, but people just don’t listen and just go run off and play TDM, instead of helping take the main objective. This is a team based game, even as a class that’s whole job is to kill people, do it with your team. Stick together. The only mercs that have an excuse to be off by themselves when the team is alive are flanking classes and snipers. Fletcher, Phantom, Vassili etc. I just had to get this out of my chest. Sorry if I offended anyone.
Teamwork
I’ve had countless games which I topscore by like over 5k and still lose, it’s really frustrating. It’s always good to vent man, take a break, watch a movie or something and just chill.
Um, min level 10 servers…? I know they are bugged and hardly appear in server browser when you filter it. But when it does show up, favorite it.
This is pretty much the nature of publics (I assume we’re talking publics here, not comp?). I feel your pain! Hope you pick up a win streak to counter your karmic bad-team streak soon buddy.
I once fired literally every bullet of my pistol in our team’s skyhammer, yelled: ammo!, ammo! Guess what happened… nothing, and same with medics… These kind of players frustrate me (It’s ok when someone don’t give you an ammo or heal/revive you, i mean they are into game, but when you give them million hints that you need ammo and they dont throw single ammo pack… thats frustrating)
Those players are beyond help, they probably play 3rd sniper in TF2. :P[/quote]
It reminds me that video of helping new players in TF2(very old one but still truthworthy :I)
I don’t think anyone would be offended by your post it’s calm and reasonable. If you’re like that when asking for assistance or offering advice then I feel your pain.
I think a lot of people just don’t pay attention to the chat log (and fair play since it’s often just people calling each other retards) or the in-game call outs, perhaps not noticing that it’s different from the automatic quips.
I can’t think of any solutions here, I think this stuff is covered in the tutorial but I could be wrong.

Except that quickchatting for ammo not only plays audio and enters a line in the chat log, it also causes all fire supports to see a big white ammo simple over you, even through walls and across the map. If you’re stood next to one and he/she still isn’t getting the hint that you need ammo, he/she’s either extremely oblivious, completely ignorant or exceptionally lazy.

In my experience, people tend to be offended by rants, just wanted to take precautions.
A major thing to aid in teamwork is to use your microphone. Even if you’re the only one talking, call out things. Keep the team informed. Proper communication can win games on their own.
Also, make sure you’re playing the role your team needs, not the one you like the best. I lose a lot of points playing Aura, but I also keep the team going at the front, and I’m the first person people are helping up if I go down.
