Team stacking

(Tom2160) #1

I haven’t seen this for a while however, it’s happened a few times to me today. Is there anyway we could stop team stacking or do we just have to put up with it?..

(Dawnlazy) #2

Wouldn’t really call it stacking based on those KDs, lel. Seems like the non-Creamy player at the top was the one that tipped the scales.

(Tom2160) #3

@Dawnlazy Lol, they weren’t particularly good at stomping, but either way it was their intention.

Note, the player at the top was actually on my team at the start.

What they’re doing is something that DB doesn’t allow because organized team versus the public is nearly always not fair.

Things like this is only allowed in DBN type of servers where you can assign members of the same team to one side and it’ll be up to them to organize themselves and get the cohesion going. If you sense anything like this, the best course of action is just to leave, and find another game; or, have your own gang of 6 on 7v7 or 8v8 and be all on one side.

DB tries to be fair. That doesn’t mean you can’t #PlayDirty

There’s really nothing we can do about it besides try vote-shuffling or kicking atm. I’d just say leave the match. Don’t put up with it. When they can’t find anyone to stomp they’ll stop trying.

want to play with friends
get called team stacking

want to play for fun
kiddies hates playing against higher skill people even tho that is a free learning method

i have to use my level 13 smurf account if i want to play with my friends, then they will stop whining. They spend a lot of time to be on that level and dont deserve shi ts getting fling at them.

(Tom2160) #7

@GatoCommodore I take it that you are one of the players from this match? Well either way, no this isn’t a good way to ‘learn’ and secondly you may derive some ‘fun’ from stomping players but is this really fair on everybody on the opposing team? You’re just ruining matches by doing this.

It’s fine that you may want to play with your friends, but you don’t all have to be on the same team.

yea, you learn so much from getting oneshotted in the head from a skilled sniper or nader

if you get it past kiddies thick head the lesson is to take cover and not engaging
“LONG RANGE SPECIALIST MERCS FROM LONG RANGE” wow such a revelations right

do you know nader nades cant explode on direct hit if its too close to nader?
maybe you should get direct hit from a skilled nader to know that

Seriously, the amount of times i just want to play with 2 of my buddies and keep seeing whine in chat about teamstacking. I can’t go ranked with 3 people eaither. Also @GatoCommodore is absolutely right. I got to my “skill level” so to speak mostly by getting my ass kicked and learning and i did not cry about stacking once. Most of what i know came from getting mauled by players that were better than me.
That fragger/nader/sniper/x keeps on killing me. What does he do diffrently than i do? Why does it work?
I remember when i used to think that fletcher is garbage untill i saw high level fletcher switch to stickies and use as a weapon instead of using the quick ability use to throw them and it made everything so much better. Or the whole crouching in mid fight deal most people do in duels.

(Noir) #11

Well, it’s a MIN 10 server and there are not even stacking mercs. What are they supposed to do ? I have seen behaviours way more arguable. I would want to play with my friends if I had some in this game. And against them of course :expressionless:

(Tom2160) #12

@Guziol @DefaultSettings I understand that people like to play with their friends however the players that were in my match not only stacked teams, they also talked shit to everyone in chat. Furthermore, they said that they were there to stomp (cream).

(Guziol) #13

Well then they are just a bunch of assholes but there is nothing that could and should be done about it.

(GatoCommodore) #14

pic or nothing

(Noir) #15

Well that’s another story then and the issue is not Team Stacking but Toxic Behaviour. Welcome to online shooters. But don’t be too disapointed, it’s worse on other games.

(K1X455) #16

It doesn’t have to be this bad in Dirty Bomb

(neverplayseriou) #17

gotta love the people that say they want to play with friends, cause playing with friends ofcourse can’t be done when in diff teams…

most of these people can barely win anyways even with a full team in discord.
