Team Balance is a joke

How come I’m stuck with the 5 dumbest players in the lobby on my team in every lobby I play in? Putting the best player with the 5 worst isn’t how you properly balance teams. There’s something wrong when the 2nd highest scoring teammate has a lower score than the opposing teams worst player EVERY GAME.

At least implement a damn party system so I can have some friends help carry the dead weight.

If people werent jumping lobbys constantly it wouldnt be such a big issue, just throwing it out there again

This isn’t news.
The community has tackled this subject down to the ground.

Bottom line is that it’s hard to have balanced teams when the skill of players in a match is all over the place.

I had a match where I was playing with some friends and no one left any games, but the game surprised us when it put the two best on one team. Me not wanting to stomp my friends called for a shuffle…it failed??? The second one went through…and the two best still on the same team LOL. This is not the first time I have seen horrible shuffles. I would really like to know how the game determines balance.

sometimes two best players are put against a strong team of medium players, with the best having to carry a bit.

Naturally balancing is difficult to do, even on high level, where win/lose depends on having decent amount of good medics, some spam, fire support and utility.

@Szakalot but based on past matches we should not have been on the same team. The enemies where nowhere near our skill level and it showed. I actually couldn’t believe it because It usually tends to be fair. When I play with my higher level friends we are never on the same team, but this time it put us together and then shuffled and we still got put on the same team. (Yes I tried switching but lobby was full) . I am genuinely curious on the algo for balancing.

I always laugh when a player calls a vote shuffle 5 times in a row. 4 times it fails, then it finally passes… and the teams get 90% swapped, so one team’s still getting stomped… then that 1 player calls yet another vote shuffle.
