Teachings.

Hi,
I started mapping a while back and i think i got up to about http://www.pythononline.co.uk/et/tutorial13.htm. I quit playing ET and mapping about 4 months ago. I wish to get started again but I was wondering if anyone would be able, and had enough time to teach me. I do not like following the tutorial that much as i cant talk to someone about it if anything goes wrong.
Thanks Nevloow

EDIT: I would first of all like to make a small map for 1vs1’s so i can get the hang of that.

Well this forum deals with most of the beginner problems, so please search first, it will mostly help you.
If you’re stuck, we’re all here to help you out, no doubt. But you got to do something on your own too (like reading he tutorial and practice on your own)

and i think that dont encourage him to ask his prolly tons of newb (sry) questions over here if he doesnt wants to read the tutes. i think what he wanted is to have somebody on instant messenger holding his hand and doing it with him. if some1 will pm him ,ok, i will help ya’’ then hes lucky; if no1 then hes ****ed up. (then either stops this altogether, or if he rly wanna map then will read the tutes. its not that big deal, i in my 1st 2 months did nothing but read (and in the following years too didnt stop that))

There is another method aaa3, no need to hold someones hand lol. Video Tutorials save the day, it’s like virtual teaching only better… You can mute the sound if the teachers voice is lol. (joke)
But video tutorials are the way to go nowadays, then these silly questions stop coming.

But still, nevloow don’t hesitate to ask.
