Then it would also be time to start thinking about a mode that is unique to DB.
We already discussed some kind ‘revive-tag’ once. It’s very similar to Gears of War team survival.
- Two teams in a TDM map
- Once killed the player lies on the ground, unkillable (unlike in GoW). Can’t tap out. No Respawn
- The only way to get up again is to have another team mate help you up.
- Another player can help the prone player up through interacting with him for a few seconds. A bar needs to be filled.
Last team standing wins.
All classes and characters possible but medics lose their revive abilities.
Another thing I’d like to see for both Revive Tag and TDM is capture points scattered across the map that give bonuses to the teams (health buffs, extra ammo clips etc). This keeps the DB spirit in the game and stops teams from camping in a corner.
Colect the Tier 3 or Ultimates weapons/abilities from specific places on the map instead of gathering xp to unlock it. Or at least that is the idea to bring more fun in the TDM.
