target_smoke shader key

I tried using the shader key of the target smoke entity today, to no effect.

I used:

key: shader
value: textures/mp_subpen/fireshader

but nothing changed in game. Is this key in use or not? Or have I set it wrong?

i also wondred about that shader key… could come in very handy for fire/dripping water /snow effects…
maybe it’s just referring to an actual image path not a shader?
