Tank problem - mg42 in the wrong place

I’ve tried searching but come up with nothing for this specific problem.

I’m using a Churchhill tank (as in fueldump) in my map, which is seperated into the main body and the turret. I have everything working fine except that the mg42 appears tagged onto the top of the body instead of the top of the turret.

I’m not quite sure how to fix it. If I tick mounted_gun on the turret’s script_mover, nothing seems to happen, plus I think that needs to be ticked on the body so the cursorhint will appear from anywhere on the tank.

btw, I have my tank set up like this:

tank: script_mover with model2 (main body of the tank)
tank_turret: game_model attached to the turret tag of the main body
tank_turret2: script_mover which is the clipping for the turret. Follows the same spline as the main body.

plus the trigger_objective_info and trigger_multiple tagged to the tank

Try in script_mover add entities key = tagent , value tank_turret

“tagent” target entity a mouted gun will be atteched to
