Tank + Objectives stealable tutorials

Where can I find some tutorials of:

  • making a tank
  • making an object that a team must steal and bring it to somewhere
    ?

It would help a lot. I’ve had searching it at google for 2 month’s but I can’t find something.

That tutorials for the tank (part 1 and 2) have I made a time ago. but the tank is not constructable and destroyable and how can a tank shoot. That want I to know XD

There’s a good example of a tank out there, it’s called Goldrush :wink:
And there’s also a stripped down version of goldrush where only the entities and brushes that are relevant to the tank are left.

Making a tank from scratch is fairly hard, you would be much better off simply copying it from the example and modifying it.

I wrote a very large tutorial some time ago, never finished it, but it has a part about objectives that need to be brought somewhere.

I think the old link is dead but I will see if i can find it and reupload it.

But, is there too a tutorial (like: how to make a tank?) where can self create a tank, so I can LEARN it???

I’m not sure what it was exactly but i saw a link once where all the parts that a tank in ET is made of are explained.

Creating the tank + script from scratch will be very hard, especially if you have not got much experience with mapping and scripting.
And in the end, if you want the tank to behave as it does in all other maps at least, you will end up with exactly what you could have copy/pasted from a prefab :slight_smile:
